Trading systems

• single stock and basket trading system front-end  - developed in Visual C++®
• order/execution gateways to Japanese markets TSE, OSE, TOCOM, TFX and JASDAQ, incorporating load balancing and failover
• application using mathematical algorithms to determine fair distribution (allocation) of executed orders across multiple funds
• order management system to record bond and equity trades at non-member brokerage, based on Access database and VB front end
• a suite of VB applications to integrate a trading system to back office, print tickets, confirmations, and upload data to settlement system (I-Star)
• FIX-compatible order/execution server processing negotiations and cross trades on OSE market
• customisation of FIX server to support multiple links for connecting buy and sell side clients
• development of FIX server managing orders and executions and integrating with in-house trading system

Market data retrieval and publishing

• Various servers retrieving real-time quotes from Asian markets for Reuters Triarch™ SSL™ TIBCO Rendezvous® and Open Bloomberg® API (BBCOMM) environments
• SSL OCX for publishing real-time data from Reuters SSL™ to Excel or other VBA-supported applications
• Customised News application to provide enhanced search facilities to client's own front-end
• Publication of real-time news, quotes and charts data to web server for public Internet sites
• VWAP calculation server, collecting tick data and outputting user-requested values to trading system
• Publication of real-time news and quotes data to Informix and Oracle databases
• News search facility in major Asian languages (Japanese, Korean, Chinese)
• Prototyping of web site real-time data displays using HTML and scripting
